The Art Education Department prepares students to become highly qualified professionals to serve and lead K-12 art programs of excellence. Curriculum in art education focuses upon a comprehensive approach which includes the theory and practice of art criticism, history, aesthetics, and studio. Our program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Education with K-12 art endorsement. Masters students in education and teachers in the field are also eligible for K-12 endorsement.
