The Ted Johnson English Advising Center provides advising information and assistance for English majors, English minors and prospective English majors and minors.
English faculty who staff the Advising Center can help you with program options (and related online documents and software), with short- and long-term planning of your English studies, and with career ideas. They can help you in the more practical matters of scheduling your classes, completing academic forms, or obtaining signatures on petitions, waivers, or graduation papers. English advisors might also be able to assist you in finding on-campus resources for other school or student-life questions that concern you.
The Advising Center operates as a drop-in resource. For regular hours and staffing, you can check the schedule posted on-line and updated on the door of LA 305. Schedule and staffing vary from semester to semester. The Advising Center is closed during breaks and finals week.
The Advising Center is located in the Liberal Arts Bldg (#18), room #305. The phone number is (928) 523-2446. If you are unable to make an English Advising Center connection, direct your concern to the English Department Office (LA 140, 523-4911).
