Listed below is an application checklist listing all of the requirements and/or forms that need to be completed. There are three sections; only the graduate school section and the MA in creative writing section are required. The third section, graduate assistantship application section, details information for those who wish to pursue a graduate assistantship.
Applications are reviewed year round for program admission.

- Statement of purpose discussing your interest in graduate study in creative writing (1-2 pages)
- A 10-20 page manuscript of original poetry or fiction. (Note: Applicants can apply in both fiction and poetry, but need to include a 10-20 page manuscript for each genre.)
