Useful Guidelines
    • 6 credits of 400-level classes may be taken as electives with the PRIOR approval of your advisor and the MA coordinator.
    • 9 credits from another graduate program may be transferred into the MA program if the courses meet the approval of the MA coordinator.
    • All of the above courses including Creative Writing, English Education, Linguistics, LTPW, Literature or other graduate English courses may be used as electives. Check the NAU Course Catalog to see full description of courses.
    • a total of  9 credits can come from outside of the NAU English Department. These courses can be transfer courses and/or courses from a department other than English.
