Application Materials & Checklist
Listed below is an application checklist listing all of the requirements and/or forms that need to be completed. There are three sections; only the Graduate School Section and the MA in Literacy, Technology, and Professional Writing Section are required. The third section, Graduate Assistantship Application Section, details information for those who wish to pursue a graduate assistantship.
Your completed MA in Literacy, Technology, and Professional Writing application will be reviewed by the members of the LTPW group. Applications are reviewed year-round for program admission. However, acceptance into the program does not guarantee a seat in a specific course. In most cases, courses are filled two weeks after open enrollment starts. This means that courses for the fall semester are usually filled by the previous spring semester (March).
The review process takes between 4-6 weeks during the school year. If you apply after April 15, the review process takes 4-8 weeks.
If you wish to be considered for a graduate assistantship or tuition waiver for the fall semester, you will need to apply by February 15.
