Our mission is to give a select number of highly talented young singers from all over the world the opportunity to further their vocal and operatic education with excellent performing experiences that will prepare them for their professional careers. The historical environment of Fidenza and other cities provides a unique cultural atmosphere.
“The month I spent with Northern Arizona University's "Flagstaff in Fidenza" was one of the most enriching, enjoyable, and engrossing cultural learning experiences I have ever known. For a young American opera singer to live in Fidenza's familial atmosphere, refining their mastery of the Italian language is a priceless, life-changing event. Having voice lessons in cavernous, older-than-America churches; rehearsing and performing in the historic Magnani Theater; receiving language coaching from native speakers: these are all experiences that have helped me grow tremendously as an artist and musician… I will forever be indebted to the people of Fidenza, and those responsible for the program. ” — Nathan Van Arsdale |
