Program fee for the three week course is $3,400. (Airfare and other travel arrangements to and from Fidenza are NOT included.) Fee includes all instruction and master classes for the three weeks, performance opportunities, lodging in Hotel Astoria, meals, and excursions to the Giuseppe Verdi sites.
Students chosen to participate in the program must gain admission to Northern Arizona University, an accredited institution of higher education, and will then register for one semester (NAU) or ECTS (CP) credit. Upon successful completion of the program, students may have their NAU or CPtranscript issued to their home university to transfer credits. Students who would like descriptions of the courses that will appear on their transcripts in advance (in order to have credit transfer pre-approved by their home institution) may request this information from the program director.
Some scholarships are available.
“Not only was Flagstaff in Fidenza a great place to polish our repertoire, it was a positive and encouraging environment. I found support in the teachers and coaches as well as my peers, and I think that is a unique and special quality that demonstrates the positivity in the atmosphere of this program. We were pushed and constantly reminded of what steps we were working towards in our individual vocal process that created a sense of balance between nurture and improvement. Flagstaff in Fidenza was an inspirational place where we could soak up a culture, hone our craft, and develop new tools for our future singing. I could not have asked for more!” — Adrianne Blanks, July 2008 |
