Pianist JANICE CHENJU CHIANG has performed extensively as recitalist, chamber musician and choral accompanist both in her native Taiwan and the United States. Most recently, she has appeared with members of the Tucson Symphony, including Concertmaster Steven Moeckel, Principal Oboe Lindabeth Binkley and violinist Jose Flores, now on the faculty of the University of Texas A& M at Corpus Christi, and in concert at Southern Texas University.

Her years of experience as choral accompanist include three national choirs in Taiwan, and the internationally renowned Arizona Choir. She has been in great demand as pianist for the solo vocal repertoire and was a selected participant in the 2003 SongFest Festival, where she worked with Graham Johnson, Martin Katz, and Pulitzer-prize recipient John Harbison.

Dr. Chiang is an experienced teacher, having taught both class and studio piano at the University of Arizona. She has also served as the interim conductor of the TaiSheng Chorus, a Taiwanese community choir based in Houston, Texas. She holds degrees from Soochow University (B.A.) and Fu-Jen Catholic University (M.M.) in Taiwan, and from the University of Arizona (D.M.A.). Her major teachers include Dr. Paula Fan, Dr. Shu-Wen Sun, Dr. Michael Dellinger, Bobby Wang and Patricia Kavanagh.
