• Area: Choral
• Eligibility: Major or minor in music; merit, not financial need; demonstrated achievement; excellence and potential in performance area; energy, enthusiasm, and ability to work well with others; sophomore standing or above

• Area: Composition
• Eligibility: Excellence in composition or improvisation; or students who excel in other areas

• Area: General
• Eligibility: Admission to music major; enrolled full-time; minimum 2.74 cumulative GPA (where A=4.0); U.S. citizen

David Shaffer/Donna Weistrop Choral Scholarship (#1513)
• Area: Choral
• Eligibility: Non-music major performing in a choir, preferable Shrine of the Ages Choir; preference given to students in science (astronomy, physics, geology, chemistry, biology, or environmental sciences), mathematics, or engineering; minimum 3.0 GPA (where A=4.0); demonstrated musicianship, dedication, and leadership qualities in choral program

Edgar Stone Vocal Scholarship (#1172)
• Area: Voice
• Eligibility: Enrolled full-time; vocal performance major; minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (where A=4.0); demonstrated excellence in performance and necessary artistic temperament for success

Eldon A. & Roger W. Ardrey Memorial Music Scholarship (#1003)
• Area: Voice
• Eligibility: Major in vocal music; demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities

• Eligibility: Enrolled full-time graduate student; member of recognized Native American Indian tribe; demonstrated creative promise and talent

• Eligibility: Entering freshman; displays most promise in piano/keyboard studies

• Eligibility: Merit-based; music performance major or emphasis; sophomore class or above, including graduate student; preference given to students who have provided unpaid community service with music talent

Henny Kroemer Warner Memorial Scholarship (#5073)
• Area: Voice
• Eligibility: Voice performance major; junior or senior status; minimum 3.0 GPA (where A=4.0)

Joe Palmer Memorial Music Scholarship (#1291)

Lloyd and Sally Hanson Singer/Actor Award of Excellence Scholarship Fund (#1399)

• Eligibility: Outstanding student singer/actor in opera; demonstrated excellence as singer and actor in current year’s opera production

Mel Kinney Scholarship (#1137)
• Area: Choral
• Eligibility: Choral music education major; junior or senior; enrolled full-time; minimum 3.0 GPA (where A=4.0) participate in two major university choral ensembles; career leadership potential

Mike Summerfield Memorial Music Scholarship (#1295)
• Area: General
• Eligibility: Interest in music, including but not limited to vocal and instrumental studies, music therapy, and related subjects; demonstrated financial need; preference for students with a real love of music

• Eligibility: Undergraduate student sophomore rank or above majoring in music, music education, or music performance, or graduate student; minimum 2.75 GPA (where A=4.0); demonstrated interest in musical career; preference given to students demonstrating interest in multicultural activities, world music philosophies, and professional involvement in world of fine arts

• Eligibility: Support students and performance in guitar, competitions, and other events to promote the guitar; based on talent, financial need, and interest in jazz

Sally Harris Hanson Women’s Chorale Founding Director’s Award (#1452)

• Eligibility: Member of Women’s Chorale; preference given to freshmen; music major or non-major; recipient is support of ensemble and its members, music and expressive, shows vocal and/or leadership potential; minimum 3.0 GPA (where A=4.0) in first semester of coursework; demonstrated financial need
