Belles
By Mark Dunn
Directed by Dr. Mac Groves
A funny, bittersweet comedy of the deep connection of sisters that
- like it or not - shape our lives in ridiculous, profound and
heartfelt ways. An exciting new play, Southern writer Mark Dunn,
uses the longdistance telephone call to point up the hilarity and
love deeply rooted in one Southern family.

Rhinoceros
By Eugene Ionesco
Directed by Missy Gibbs
The sublime is confused with the ridiculous in this absurd commentary
on the human condition. A small town is besieged by one roaring
rhinoceros - does it have one or two horns and is it the Asiatic
or the African variety? Shortly more citizens are transformed into
rhinoceroses. The trampling becomes louder until one man remains,
unable to change his form and identity.

The Cripple of Inishmaan
By Martin McDonagh
Directed by Dr. Bob Yowell
Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland in 1934, the
Cripple of Inishmaan is a strange comic tale in the great tradition
of Irish storytelling. As word arrives on Inishmaan that the Hollywood
director Robert Flaherty is coming to the neighboring island of
Innishmore to film MAN OF ARAN, the one person who wants to be
in the film more than anybody is young Cripple Billy, if only to
break away from the bitter tedium of his daily life. A savage Irish
tale.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
By Tom Stoppard
Directed by Kate Ellis
The musings and off stage encounters of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern
are the focus of this witty and thought provoking comedy by Tom
Stoppard. With Shakespeare's Hamlet as background, Stoppard created
the off stage antics of two minor characters waiting for their
few moments of scripted action. From Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's
perspective their world makes no sense, and all they can do is
question their existence and wait: for Hamlet, for Meaning, for
Death.

The Miser
By Moliere Translated by Albert Bremel
Directed by Kathleen M. McGeever
The Miser, Moliere's satire on materialism is a story of cunning,

Much to his consternation, his children, Cleante and Elise have
fallen in love and their intended spouses are penniless. The children,
their suitors, and the wily maid Frosine conspire to outwit the
miserly Harpagon before it is too late.
