Theatre Faculty Academic Advisors
During the third term the student advising files are transferred to the department and the student is assigned a theatre faculty advisor. Often students will establish a relationship with one particular faculty member. At anytime in the students career a student my request a re-assignment to a different advisor. To so you need to get the permission from the new advisor, fill out a change of advisor form and turn the signed form into the Department of Theatre office.
Theatre faculties have had a long standing practice of maintaining an open door policy. The faculty serve as both academic advisors and mentors to the students. As students face the challenges of academic life they are counseled to speak with their faculty advisors regularly. Even if students are well acquainted with his/her personal degree progress and the term to term needs and requirements, we require all students to contact their advisors at pre-registration time to verify degree progress, update personal data and get advising holds removed.
