In the spirit of the liberal arts tradition, Northern Arizona University's Department of Theatre offers students the broadest possible understanding of the art and craft of theatre through creative, critical, and applied practice. We also provide students and Flagstaff residents with low cost, high quality theatrical entertainment that enriches and enhances the whole community.
Our nationally respected curriculum in Theatre Studies, Theatre Education, Technology and Design, and Performance, provides students with a solid foundation for expressing themselves logically and artistically. We also prepare our students to pursue further professional development in graduate school, teaching, professional theatre, or in the general workforce.
